Wentworth is the oldest town in the district and it is here where the mighty Murray and Darling rivers meet. Hop aboard an old riverboat, take a drive or simply walk around the historic township and explore the Wentworth Courthouse, Old Gaol and St John’s Anglican Church (all National Trust-classified). Wentworth has a strong community spirit, well-preserved historic buildings, green and leafy streetscapes and is considered the gateway into Outback NSW.
